Antique New England Stepback Cupboard

I love it when I find a wonderful antique cupboard. This 19th century stepback cupboard is a handsome piece although it possibly has had some changes over time. It may be that at one point someone decided to scallop the sides, but maybe it was made that way. Either way it is a charming well priced antique cupboard. It does have a molded cornice, three open shelves, and a raised panel door. It measures 36" across the front by 75" tall by 16 1/2" wide. I think the picture speaks for itself and if you do a little comparitive shopping you will see that it is very fairly priced.

Hanging Cupboard

Hanging cupboards are so versatile. You can hang them on the wall or place then on top of a smaller floor cupboard or table - always a great look. This glass front cupboard measures 30 1/4" high by 26" wide by 11" deep. The glass in the door is definitely that great old wavy glass. And it has wonderful molding on the top and bottom. My hunch is it might be from Pennsylvania and is probably mid to late 19th century, But I am not an expert. Pick up or delivery in the northeast is possible. It could not be shipped.

Stepback Cupboard

What a handsome stepack cupboard this is. My guess is that it was done in the early to mid 20th century as a colonial revival piece. It has great detailing and is solid wood with possible pieces reused from an earlier cupboard. Love the combination of drawers and storage cupboards. A great piece.
