Drop Leaf Table and A Pair of Hitchcock Chairs

Personally I love an old tavern look and as soon as I saw this table and chair grouping in a small room in a shop that is immediately what I thought. I also fell in love with the lion head pull on the drawer. The form of the table is wonderful although it has a few minor problems. The dropleaf hinges have been replaced and moved and it has been refinished - all indications that it was a well used table probably dating from the early to mid 19th century,

The chairs are mid 20th century unmarked Hitchcock with a wonderful shell motif. Very handsome!

Chimney Cupboard

I have placed this chimney cupboard catty corner in my narrow back hallway. It is perfect and such a great contrasting color. Ben, a talented cabinetmaker, builds these as well as a number of other cupboards, large and small. If you are looking for something special, let us know. This cupboard measures 20" across the front, 79" high, and 12" deep. It would be a special order. Shipping would be extra, but it could be delivered depending where or could be picked up.
