Donna's Mice

Donna has been at it again. These mice are entirely handcrafted. Have you noticed their paws and all the special detailing? Horatio, on the right, is reading "Of Mice and Men"! Can you stand it. His spectacles even have lenses! I suspect he has great insight! How does Donna do it? Patience of a saint I say! And the character on the top right hand side of the box - see larger picture above - notice his notepad is bound with curlicued wire!

These mice are weighted and they are approximately 4" tall. Each one is signed and dated

Washington Silhouette

Wendy Schultz Wubbels is a contemporary silhouette and scherenschnette artist. Her work is exquisite. This papercut silhouette of George Washington is wonderful. It is signed and dated 1999. It measures 6 3/4" by 12".

Crow Tree

Handcrafted by an artist in Ohio, these crows are molded from clay as is the squirrel and attached to a branch. Wonderful American folk art. It stands 20" high by 11" wide. The base measures 3 1/2" square

Lady in Green

Pure Whimsey. The wonderful thing about this lady in green and the gal dressed in mustard below is that this midwest artisan has returned to her roots. After growing her handcrafted business for many years she chose to try the bigger business of having things reproduced across the seas. With a variety of life changes, as we all have, she has given that aspect up and is now back to handcrafting her original creations. These gals make me smile. This lady stands approximately 17 1/2". Her base measures 5" square.

Donna spent all winter making all the french knots, about a zillion, that make this wooly sheep pillow extra special and carefully handcrafted! Another friend with the patience of a saint! This pillow measures approximately 8" by 10".

A Fine Horse For Sale

Love to support the talented American artisans. Sandy Bourne has taken an old receipt dated 1900, added a hand cut horse silhouette, and placed it all in a beautifully grain painted frame. It is signed and dated on the back and measures 9 1/2" by 8 1/2". This is not a print.
